Actually there is a little bit truth in that... Ppl (used to) give the visiting Santa something to "warm"
him up a bit before the next house...

Red Nose and Red cheeks should give U a hint??

... which aptly and instantly reminds me of one of the nicest coworkers i ever had the joy to work with, a lovely finnish guy who went by the surname GINMAN  (no joke!).

i wonder how many times, in a US company with 90% of all conversations being held in english, the poor lad had to explain the proper finnish pronunciation of his name, which actually appears to be something like 'Kheen-munn', not 'jeann-maan'  :darky:
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!

Typos in my translations are my cats' fault who hit the keyboard while i'm away.

He probably liked "Lonkero"https://www.hartwall.fi/en/drinks/original-long-drink-long-drinks
(mix it yourself: Dry Gin "add your own prefered amount or 4cl in a pint glass", Grape fruit juice or Grape soda(prefered) add ice.)

What about Lasse Virén? Gold medal winning Olympian marathoner suspected of using high altitude "blood/oxygen doping". But that's not drugs!!!!

I would never notice such a thing myself but he also seems to nearly need a so called "athletic supporter".   :Mr.G:

PS. I'm guessing that wearing a "jock strap" ( athletic supporter ) would have weighed him down a bit so not using one was actually an active strategy.
